Care and use of furniture mechanisms

Keep the mechanism clean and dry, visually check fasteners for loosening and deformation, and inspect assembly and component condition before continued use if movement becomes difficult. Do not apply lubricants or interventions not specified in the technical documentation.

Routine observation

Observe equal operation of left and right parts, loose screws, cracks or deformation in sheet-metal or plastic parts, rubbing noise and upholstery contact. Report abnormal conditions with product and variant information.

Set inspection frequency according to usage intensity and stop using a damaged mechanism that may create a safety risk.

Cleaning and intervention

Do not leave the mechanism in a damp environment. Clean surfaces with a dry or lightly damp method that does not damage coatings or plastic parts. Follow the product documentation and sales/technical guidance for part replacement, adjustment or lubrication.
