Hole and connection errors
Use the hole centers in the technical drawing and avoid stacking tolerances from profile, wood and sheet-metal parts. Fix fastener type and length in the production sheet.
Do not overtighten fasteners until parts deform or leave them loose enough to create play. Check motion feel and connection security together on the first piece.
Functional test
Test the product under load in standard, intermediate and fully open positions. Observe contact between the mechanism and fabric, foam, cushions or wood, and record noise, rubbing and locking differences for the first series.
